Professor Wilson shook her head in disbelief as she shuffled the research report back into order.

“Under human control, the machine is chaotic – potentially carastrophic… but the chimps seem to have an intuitive affinity for operative input?”

She gulped her now cold coffee, crunching the paper cup into a ball and hurling it at the waste basket.

“How do I explain this to the Board!”

She turned to the three blank faces of her research associates, awaiting suggestions. The chimp, caged in the corner of the lab, sniggered into his hands and looked the other way…
