Let us endure this evil month, anxious as a theatrical producer’s forehead!”

29th January: Oprah Winfrey, Tom Selleck and Germaine Greer all share birthdays today, along with the Swedish scientist born this day in 1688, died 29/3/1772, Emanuel Swedenborg: “Without such a Life, the Word as to the letter is dead.”

30th January: Phil Collins, Vanessa Redgrave and Franklin Roosevelt share birthdays today.

31st January: I was drawn to the Japanese leader/statesmen born this day in 1543, died 1/6/1616, Tokuga Ieyasu also listed (at Brainyquote.com) as Ieyasu Tokuga under a seperate entry with the same details: “Let thy step be slow and steady, that thou stumble not.”
